Calypso Greek Grill
Calypso Greek Grill is a premium casual sit down restaurant off the coast of California. Sitting seaside, diners can enjoy a casual and friendly atmosphere as they engage in memorable conversation with friends, families, or dates. Restaurants such as the famous Las Brisas inspired the coastal ambiance for Calypso. The Boulder, Colorado Mediterranean restaurant nicknamed “The Med” inspired the more laid back and casual environment in comparison to Las Brisas formal dining.
Signage
Walking towards the entrance of Calypso Greek Grill, customers will be greeted by a large wall sign of the restaurants logo with the familiar fish. It would be made with a durable and shiny material such as Aluminum.
Interactivity
As diners wait to be seated, they can take a glimpse or interact with Calypso’s moving panels. As you spin the panels, another photograph of the restaurants meals will be revealed. Additionally, the iconic fish is seen on both sides of the panels as well as a greek pattern to be seen throughout the restaurant. On one side of the panels are Greek words. When flipped around, the other side of the panel will reveal the translation in English. They are food related words such as “yum” and “savory”
The spinning panels can act as a background for a picture for social media, or for children to spin and play with while they wait. It is meant for all demographics.
For the Adults
Once inside the restaurant, diners will want to catch a glimpse of the bar. Surrounded with Calypso’s signature pattern, the bar is decorated with beautiful tiling in the iconic teal color. Of-age customers can grab a drink with friends during Happy Hour. Younger customers can still admire the detail and atmosphere from afar.
